So lately I have had a problem with my Insomnia and waking up in the middle of the night and snacking!!!! How do I break this habit??? I am open to any suggestions.
um...don't do it! LOL In all seriousness, try having a FULL glass of water. maybe that will fill your stomach enough to get you by until morning. You have a different situation than most of us. Working graveyards is WAY not a way to loose weight. When I was on graves, it was all I could do to just MAINTAIN! You can do it though! Make sure you get the rest you need! Your weight loss depends on it!
Try a sleepy time tea before bed. Also for night time cravings, maybe eating more protein during the day or at dinner may help with the cravings. I also have a glass of flavored water (orange juice, or lemonade) that kicks the craving at night.
Chew gum! you have to take the gum out to put anything in... It works for me when I'm cooking. I don't add calories when I don't snack when I'm chopping up dinner.
Thanks guys I appreciate it!! Well I am on a month of graves starting tonight :-( So we will see how my weight loss goes at this time. I might have to try some of those things before I go to bed.

ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with Stephne. I worked a LOT of graveyards, and water was the only way I was able to survive (of course, with eating responsibly).
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!
